Frankie
is an 8year old bay gelding of native type. He stands about 13.1hh.
He has been ridden in the past, but sadly was "broken" not backed
and brought on, and he started bolting.
He can also be difficult to catch, but that is nothing a good routine and a
bit of work won't solve.
He came in to us in 2007 and has spent his time chilling out in the field.
Frankie now needs an experienced home that will treat him to all the TLC he
can handle, and put some time into
rebacking him slowly and showing him it doesn't have to be scary.
He is good to load and stands for the farrier. He is wormed to date. He has
no health issues that we are aware of.
Frankie will live in or out and keeps his weight well through the winter.
Only those able to offer Frankie the experience, time and love he deserves in
a long term home will be considered.
UPDATE: Frankie has become much calmer in his approach to catching and will now follow us around the field.

Cleo is a very pretty coloured mare, standing approx 13.1hh. Cleo has had laminitis in the past and will need her weight kept down. She also suffers with COPD which is managable and causes her no problems if she lives out. She is blind in one eye from a previous infection, but is fully ridable and if she trusts her rider, the blindness does not cause an issue. She would suit a confident child/small adult looking for a safe hack or light jump.

Manny is a yearling standard shetland colt. He is a very sweet lad and very laid back. He is fully registered with the SPBS and has very good pedigree. We are looking for a show home for this special pony that will take him all the way and make the most of the potential he has. He moves very well. Manny had a skin problem when he first came to us that was thought to be an allergy. It was successfully treated with regular bathing with medicated shampoo, and we have had no recurrance of this in the time he has been with us. He will stand to be groomed, have his feet picked out and leads well. He can occassionally be a bit nervy but is getting a lot better with regular handling. He loves kids, but can be funny with dogs after being bitten by a rottie! Showing homes with Shetland experience preferred. Even though Manny is still entire, he doesnt fret around mares (he currently has mares each side of his field) and takes no notice. He likes to play, as babies do, but is also respectful of other ponies space. He is vaccinated and wormed to date. He is good to load and travel. Would prefer a home where he can live out (because of the skin) or where he will in as short a time as possible. Can be gelded. If you can offer Manny a long term home, please contact us.
Note - Manny is due to be gelded by the end of October 08.

Gem is a 14.1hh bay mare, thought to be New Forest X. She has a fantastic temperament and nothing fazes her. She is only young and needs an experienced home willing to put the work into her, to get a top class pony at the end of it. She is wormed and vaccinated to date, good to load and travel, good with farrier and good to lead and tie up. She has recently had minor surgery to a hind leg, but this doesnt not affect her movement or ability (please enquire for further details). Gem will live in or out happily and is very easy to do in every way. She does, however, need a home where she will be with at least 2/3 other horses/ ponies as she will become too clingy with just one other. An exceptional home sought for this exceptional little mare.
